Bloomfield High School is excited to unveil the newly updated Warhawk mascot—a refreshed look that honors tradition while bringing renewed energy to school spirit.

The Warhawk has long symbolized strength, pride, and resilience within the Bloomfield community. The upgraded costume features enhanced detail, brighter colors, and improved comfort and mobility, allowing the Warhawk to better engage with students, staff, and fans at athletic events, pep rallies, and school celebrations.

To mark this exciting update, Bloomfield High School sponsored a “Name the New Warhawk” contest open to all students and faculty. The winning name, Wynn, was submitted by math teacher Ms. Dubois and reflects the Warhawk’s will to win in academics, the arts, and athletics. Please join us in welcoming Wynn the Warhawk to the Bloomfield family.

This update reflects Bloomfield High School’s ongoing commitment to fostering school pride and creating memorable experiences for students. More than just a new costume, the refreshed Warhawk represents unity, school spirit, and the pride shared across classrooms, teams, and activities.

Be on the lookout for Wynn the Warhawk throughout the school year as he rallies the crowd and helps celebrate all that it means to be part of Bloomfield High School.

Bloomfield Mayor Harrington stopped by in person to drop off a generous donation of professional clothing in support of the School To Career Office’s new Career Closet! 🙌🏾Thank you! His contribution included business-ready attire that will go directly to students preparing for interviews, presentations, and their upcoming Capstone projects. 👔✨. We’re thankful for his leadership and hands-on support in helping our students show up confident and career-ready. Donations are still being accepted and will continue over the next few months. If you’re able to donate new or gently used professional clothing, your support makes a meaningful difference in preparing our students for success beyond the classroom.

Students were highly engaged throughout the session, asking thoughtful questions and actively discussing their project ideas. The meeting helped them understand expectations, timelines, and the support available to them. With this strong start, seniors are well-prepared and motivated to begin developing their Capstone projects.
